A feisty, enthusiastic little kit, Tatsu is eager to learn about the world around him. Kind-hearted and good natured, he never says a bad word about anyone unless they’ve wronged either him or his friends.

Tatsu dreams of one day becoming a Ninfox, however, this dream may not come true as he was born a cripple. Unable to stretch his left hind leg probably, it is hard for Tatsu to run or fight as well as the other foxes. As such, his parents believe he is too fragile to become a Nincub while the other foxes tend to shun him.

Since his parents are so overprotective of him, Tatsu has grown into a fiercely independent kit. Hating the thought of being pitied, he never lets his disability set him back or complains about it and is determined to become a Ninfox with three good legs or not.

Tatsu is always in the company of his two best friends and fellow misfits, Usagi and Aozora. Known as the ‘Troublesome Trio’ within the clan, they can usually be found either running circles around Hiroaki or training with Daisuke. All three share a great admiration for Daisuke, who is the only one to encourage their dreams.

Naruto also helps out by introducing the Troublesome Trio to the Konohamaru Corps and recruiting the kits as familiars for the kids.

Since Daisuke is the baby of the family I guessed he would probably wish that he had a younger sibling to look after. The Troublesome Trio, although not related to Daisuke by blood, fit into that role in every way.

Also, since Daisuke is pretty much an outcast, I wanted him to feel especially close to one of the kits. Knowing what it's like to be different bonds Daisuke and Tatsu together.
